Submit a Program

Many of New York’s police departments, district attorneys' offices, probation departments, and sheriff’s offices have implemented innovative programs and practices to address crime, reduce victimization, or improve operations. The Criminal Justice Knowledge Bank allows criminal justice professionals to share information about what types of practices are working within their community.

If you have a program or initiative within your agency to share on the Knowledge Bank, please contact DCJS at [email protected] or reach out to your DCJS program contacts for more information.

DCJS will:

  • Confirm the program’s suitability for the Knowledge Bank;
  • Provide a form to submit the program description to DCJS;
  • Modify the submission to fit a standardized format and style; and
  • Work with you on finalizing the summary.

A final draft must be approved by the local agency head prior to posting to the Knowledge Bank website.  The entire process, from submission to posting, will take 1-3 months.
